All delegates are required to register by completing the 'Registration Form' and paying the registration fee. Presentation/submission of a paper (oral or poster) is not mandatory.

1.

*  Post-Docs are not included in the student category.

The registration fee does not include hotel, boarding and lodging charges.

All delegates from foreign countries, including Non-Resident Indians will pay the registration fee and other charges in US dollars. However, delegates from SAARC countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) can pay in Indian rupees through a bank draft drawn through an authorized bank in their countries.

Mode of Payment

Registration fee and other charges are to be paid by Bank Draft drawn in favour of “International Society of Environmental Botanists, Lucknow, India Account No. 01100305012” payable at the State Bank of India, NBRI Extension Counter, under Lucknow Main Branch, Lucknow.

Overseas delegates can also remit their registration fee and other charges via electronic transfer, wire transfer, by SWIFT, using code “SBININBB157” payable to “International Society of Environmental Botanists, Lucknow Account No. 01100305012” payable at the State Bank of India, NBRI Extension Counter, under Lucknow Main Branch, Lucknow.

Cheques/Credit cards will not be accepted.

 Accommodations

Lucknow has several 3-5 star hotels of international standards as well as many good economy/budget hotels. Delegates may arrange their own accommodation. To facilitate hotel/tour bookings etc a conference travel agent has been appointed.

Submission of Abstract

Abstract not exceeding one A-4 page is to be submitted in electronic form.  Last date of submission of abstract is 31st August 2005.

Oral presentation

Oral presentations will be of 15 minutes duration, including discussions. Overhead, 35mm projection, LCD/CD and other electronic multi media facilities will be available for presentation.

Besides oral presentations there will be invited lectures.

Posters

The space given for the poster would be 1.5m (height) x 1.2m (width). Please ensure that your poster will fit into this space. All other details of design and format are up to the author(s), who will themselves display their posters at their respective poster sessions. Necessary materials for posting the displays will be provided by the organizers.

Full papers

A hard-copy manuscript of each full paper, along with digital/electronic file in “Rich Text Format” (.rtf) or “MS Word” (.doc) format on a CD or USB Flash Drive or 3.5 inch Floppy Drive should be submitted at the time of the Conference.

Manuscripts should generally follow the pattern of Environmental Pollution published by Elsevier Science, Oxford (UK). Click here to visit the relevant web site of Elsevier Science.

Conference Committees

An Apex Committee consisting of eminent scientists from NBRI/ISEB has been constituted to oversee the work of planning and organizing of ICPEP-3 and to guide and advise the Organising Secretaries in administrative and financial matters. Click for Details.

An International Advisory Committee with some of the most reputed and highly distinguished International environmental and plant scientists has been constituted to guide and advise in planning and organizing this Conference. Click for Details.

The Organizers convey special thanks for the over whelming response and look forward to Registration/Submissions from all who had pre-registered.

Display/Publicity Stalls.

A limited number of covered display stalls will be available at the venue of the Conference to various companies/firms and Public Sector Undertakings who have interest in Environment Control or are dealing in environmental and/or scientific equipments, chemicals as well as publishers of scientific & technical books etc. to show case their products/interests.
